Skip Rogers's love affair with radio began as a young boy in Washington, D.C., hiding under the covers at night with his transistor radio listening to magical distant AM stations.  When he first heard the Who’s “I Can See For Miles” come blasting out of that little radio, he knew that rock and roll would become a huge part of his life.  College radio gave Skip his first on-air radio experience and soon after, he landed his first professional on-air job at age 20 and has never turned back.

Skip has traveled the country as a DJ hosting morning shows in Philadelphia and Honolulu and appearing on great radio stations in Boston, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. 

When not on the air, Skip is a professional musician, writing and recording electronic music from a state-of-the-art recording studio built deep into his home.  Skip lives with a houseful of girls and two dogs that keep him grounded.  Skip loves to read about politics and history and foolishly remains devoted to his beleaguered Washington Redskins.  During prep football season, Skip never misses a chance to catch some great high school football action.
