Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive |
|
Zanesville - letter carriers will collect non-perishable food donations left at mail boxes and in post offices for delivery to local community food banks, pantries, and shelters…in cooperation with the Operation Feed Campaign. In 2012, the NALC Food Drive collected over 18,000 pounds of food for Muskingum County, which helped serve over 1.2 Million meals for area needy. Our Food banks and pantries are desperately trying to keep up with the increased demand for food assistance. So, let’s do what we can to help “STAMP OUT HUNGER”! |

Youth football registration |
|
South East Ohio Youth Football (SEOYF) will conduct registration for the 2013 season registration for players and cheerleaders will be held at the Armco fields off Linden Avenue in Zanesville.
SEOYF is a new youth football league that is open to all children in Muskingum County and surrounding areas from kindergarten through sixth grade. The registration fee is $35 per child. Parents/guardians must bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate to registration.
Those who cannot attend registration on May 11 may also register on weekdays at High Energy Prints, located at 901 Putnam Avenue in Zanesville.
