 CODE RED: Roadway conditions have severely worsened. Inclement weather has affected the treatment and/or clearing of roadways. Roadways will remain hazardous until further notice. It is recommended that only emergency and safety crews be on the roadways.

CODE YELLOW: Roadway conditions are declining. Inclement weather has caused roadways to become covered with precipitation. Public safety crews are present on roadways. Motorists must use extreme caution. Use judgement on road conditions versus necessity of travel.

CODE GREEN: Roadway conditions are under advisory. Inclement weather is in the area and adversely affecting traveling conditions. Public safety crews are beginning to convene on roadways. Motorists must use caution.
